Frequently asked questions
The quick answers properties ask most before and after moving to Aurora — covering migration, onboarding, channel sync, payments, contracts, support, data and mobile.
How do I migrate from my current PMS?+
You can bring your property across without downtime. Set up your rooms, room types and rate plans in Aurora, import your existing and upcoming reservations, then connect your channels. Most properties run a short overlap to confirm everything matches before switching fully. Our team helps with the import.
How long does onboarding take?+
Aurora is designed to set up in minutes, not weeks. Creating your property, rooms and rates is fast, and there's no lengthy implementation or consultant required. Connecting your OTAs and booking engine takes the rest of a typical first session.
How does OTA and channel sync work?+
Aurora has a channel manager built in. Your rates and availability are pushed to your connected channels automatically, and bookings flow back into Aurora in real time. Because Aurora is the single source of truth, the same room is never sold twice.
How do payments work?+
Aurora records each reservation's rate and total, and shows guests an honest price with no hidden booking fees. Direct bookings can be settled at the property, and your confirmations clearly state what's paid and what's due.
Are there long contracts or setup fees?+
No. Aurora is demo-led with transparent pricing — no setup fees and no multi-year lock-in. Book a demo and we'll tailor a plan to your property's size.
What support do I get?+
You get hands-on help getting set up plus ongoing support by email at [email protected], and this help center with step-by-step guides for every part of Aurora.
Can I export my data?+
Yes. Your reservations and reporting data are yours. You can export them, so you're never locked in.
Does Aurora work on mobile?+
Yes. Aurora is mobile-first. Housekeeping runs from a phone, and the dashboard, reservations and booking engine all work great on a small screen as well as on desktop.
